This ocarina has a very interesting and unique surface, with a look that resembles modern abstract paintings. The sound is rather mellow, and nearly concert pitched, but not quite. There is a small amount of airiness throughout the range, but naturally this increases as we head up the scale. It follows normal transverse fingerings, but if you're not familiar with them, there is a fingering chart included in the basic instructional booklet. It's weight is on par with most other clay tenors, and seems to be made of a decent quality earthenware. The perfect amount of breath pressure is easy to find, but the higher notes ask for much more air then the lower notes, yielding a rather loud upper register.
